Construction Advances In Mercado Neighborhood At Paseo

Stock Development has passed the 50 percent construction rate in the Mercado neighborhood of single-family homes at Paseo, the 2009 Lee Building Industry Association's Community of the Year.

Homes are underway or completed or nearing completion on 15 of 29 homesites in the Mercado neighborhood. Most of the homes offer lake views or vistas of the Six Mile Cypress Slough's nature preserves. The neighborhood is adjacent to Paseo's Village Center.

According to Tim Clark, Vice President of Sales for Paseo, there are five single-story, two-story and courtyard designs available in Mercado starting from the $290s. All offer attached two car garages and pool and spa options. Two new furnished models, the Tivoli and the San Remo opened for viewing last month.

"Mercado's smaller single-story designs are perfect for empty nesters, while the two-story designs offer up to four bedrooms, a family room upastairs and nearly 2,400 square feet under air,” said Clark. "They are perfect for growing families seeking extra bedrooms and play rooms for the children. They also have the convenience of being located across the street from the Village Center.”

Paseo, which was named the LBIA 2009 Community of the Year, is a private, gated 444-acre community of multi-family and single-family homes, priced from $180s and surrounded by the beautiful natural environment of the Six Mile Cypress Slough.

Mercado residents enjoy full privileges at The Paseo Village Center, which includes a full-service concierge, a bistro, an ice cream parlor, a pub, an internet café, a coffee shop, a 4,000 square foot fitness center, a business center and library, as well as spa services and a 90-seat theatre with a projection room and comfortable elevated seating.
